Every year since I was little, my grandmother gave everyone in the clan underwear for Christmas. It annoyed the lot of us until we hardly cared anymore and reduced the annoyance to inside jokes, while our friends continued to be amazed at the number of panties my sister and I had in our drawers. Last year though, it seemed like my grandma realised how exasperated we all were of her presents, and she decided she'd give us tacky shirts and cheap blouses instead--and now we find ourselves missing those So-en boxes.
Actually, I just wanted to say how much I love Kame's 1582 in BTR. :P Sure, I laughed my ass off through most of it, but it was epicsauce and seriously mind-boggling. *w* (Yeah, it took me two days to move on from the omfg Junda =)))

Because I have an irrational fear of signing up for fic exchanges, most likely brought on by my irrational fear of fic writing on a frequent basis (number of fic plotted since 2007: 5; number of fic posted: 1), I'll just be watching this one, but you guys should definitely DO IT DO IT DO IT! Hi... I failed my Ps hahahhaaha hahah in like... the first 10min
I WANT TO KICK MYSELF IN THE HEAD. Every bad habit that I had and resolved 3 weeks ago, crept back and bit me hard.
I turned off the main road and didn't slow down... AND I ENDED UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD. Holy shit, I didn't know nerves could affect me this bad. NEVER EVER have I driven on the wrong side of the road before. EVER.
My mind was spinning when the test started, and I just couldn't calm down. Sucks, because my examiner was really really nice. What are the chances that I'm going to get a nice examiner next time? D:
I really hate myself atm T____T now I have to wait till I come back from overseas to take another test, not that I was going to drive overseas but,
I AM JUST SO GODDAMN IRRITATED AT MYSELF RIGHT NOW.
Please show me funny pictures/story/jokes to cheer me up ;_; I'm so emo right now and I feel like a pathetic retard who fails at life OTL.

1. Saturday, the usual people celebrated ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kye_kestrel's early birthday lunch at Trinoma -- we had Singaporean food at Toastbox, and the most delicious toast I have ever tasted. What was that called again? Kaya? But anyway! Yes, that was what happened in the morning.
2. After izkariote left for elsewhere, khursten finally came bearing down on me with the full wrath of her dress hunting skills. Or something. But I tried out a lot of clothes... and we walked around a lot... a lot.... But I did get a dress! It is red, and it has a skirt, and it is also v. cute. And the first dress I've actually owned and not borrowed since my aunt's wedding when I was ten. *w* kye_kestrel and synatri also got matching dresses which they should wear when we see each other next, yes, yes. /nods to self
3. I chu-d synatri on the cheek. And promptly got thwacked on the head. It was worth it. And then 77ws and I drove kye_kestrel back to the south, and then 77ws drove me home, because he is a gentleman like khursten that way and GUUUYS I am getting to used to have someone drive me around, haha. Needs ta learn how to drive.
4. Sunday, I had wanted to stay in and have a slow, quiet day at home, but gorcie_419 dragged me out to Mercy's house (which is just a block away, granted), where we watched a couple of episodes of Glee and Julie & Julia. It was still fun overall.
5. Monday was team dinner/Christmas party/exchange gifts, organized by yours truly. I believe it was fun! And people for fairly satisfying gifts. Also I had more to drink than usual.
6. Department Christmas party! And more drinking! Food was good.
7. I got my Christmas gift from khursten. /leeeeer. Wait til you guys see it.

Recently discovered the fun of watching Taiwanese channels on youtube, and I came across this paranormal channel.
haha..
Taiwan is so haunted it's not funny.
TAIPEI 101'S ELEVATOR IS HAUNTED.
FUCK... I GO ON THERE EVERY TIME I GO BACK D:
Only recently they found 7000 skeletons buried underneath a famous university.
There's also this basement parking lot very close to my Aunty's house, where 2 ppl died very violently from the typhoon.
... I better go say hi to my ancestors first when I go back lol.
Here are some really weird traditional Taiwanese methods for repelling bad things:
1. When you are traveling and staying in hotels/hostels you've never been to before, make sure you knock on the door to let anything in there know that you are coming in.
2. When you're about to go to sleep, place your slippers/shoes beside your bed, one foot facing down and the other up.
3. This one is hilarious, set your mobile phone to the game title section, as if you're about to play and place it beside your bed table. Ghosts will be too busy playing with your game to scare you. LOL apparently this is the 'modern' way, in the olden days people would put toys or things that ghosts can do beside the bed.
4. When you sense there is a 'bad' ghost near you, poke your tongue out. A number of 'guards' in the underworld have their tongues poked out, so bad things are scared of that. <--- I've heard this one from so many different shows
5. Turn your music up when you're driving through somewhere eerie.
